Re: Lets see those SCHWINNS...Bikes/parts/ect

So what the difference in the team schwinn cranks, and the team schwinn pros?

I see a lot of team schwinn cranks but the cranks on the 82 gt I’ve had for over 20 years say pro. Also what years were the produced?http://uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/239931/7c002816-6bd5-4e39-b9a2-1d2b0b2f6e225c3156caaa.png

Team Schwinn cranks were available from 1979 through 1983. Typically the "PRO" stickered were off the shelf versions available in 170 and the more rare 175mm. the complete production Stings did not have the Pro sticker.

So pros were an accessory that didn’t come on completes. So previous owner bought these cranks as is, didn’t pull them off a sting to put on this GT?

Got this awhile back,  originally planned on converting it to a 26" BMX tandem. http://uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/23382/20181026_2036325c339cd320.jpg

Curious as to which cranks you have! the length is stamped on the back of the crank arm 170mm or 175mm
