1979 Laguna Cruiser 26
3-bar classic Laguna BMX cruiser
Early 1979 26" Laguna frame (no gusset under downtube/headtube junction), Gary Littlejohn forks, 26" Araya 7c's, DiaCompe brake & lever, Sugino star & chainwheel, 1-pc. Sugino 178 cranks, Brooks saddle, Redline Brute stem, VDC bars, rat-trap pedals...
Built in 2008 to look like it was built in about 1980.
Found the F/F, wheels, cranks, post built up with a whole bunch of random parts on CL. Scored it dirt-cheap because it didn't "run". Scrounged & traded for the rest of the parts over about 6 mo. Fun to ride.

Its funny - it wasn't until after seeing these photos that I tilted the bars back a little. I knew something felt off, but seeing it on here told me what it was...

Still looking good!, but I gotta say, every time this one pops back up on the top of the list, I get all excited because I think someone found another Laguna 24!
