Does anyone know what size the seat post needs to be?

I think 26.8mm.  That's gonna be another killer ride, bro!

No, I have a 27.2mm I tried and it's a little loose.
It's got to be 27.? something.

I think Perront's right. 26.8 is pretty darn close to 27

I tried a little bigger seatpost and it didn't fit.
It is a very loose 27.2mm.
I guess because the frame is new and has never been built up before this.

Re: Finally!! A Powerlite Thread!! I've Been Waiting For One.

I'm going to be making some changes to this bike. It will be getting a black headset. It will also have high flange black and silver sealed mohawk hubs on it. I'm not sure if I should use the same rims with black nipples or black rims with silversides. What are your guys opinions on it?http://uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/31504/15430549844609062088817736190675bf926af94.jpg

My sincere apologies guys...been hella busy this holiday weekend so far with work and family trying to balance the two out.

Well...I was going to get the diameter of this seatpost situation and for the love of God can't find my post anywhere as my frame has not been built up since 2000. I will try to find some info on the net asap starting now. I will deliver on my word...

IMO. Black rims would look the best.

It's a 27.0 diameter. Not the easiest to find, but there out there.

The 27.2 fits a little loose but the  clamp made it grab.
