Nice, but could be darker

Not bad. Borders on the rectangles and the dyno script are a little spotty. Blue seems lighter compared to the pic you posted on 7/11. Either way, better than the alternative that is available right now = none.

Anyway I can get in on one, two if he is making more? Thanks for sharing.

The edges aren't as noticeable in real life(pretty small decal). He is doing more in the darker blue. I will order a few extras

These make it in?

They are tiny. What are they for?

Here is a similar set on eBay with regular size D's.

I may have one of those decals.  I can dig for it tomorrow if you remind me cause I’ll probably forget.

Can someone please tell this idiot that his 96 slammer is not all original! Tried telling him politely and he got hostile so I figured I’d let the people who know best inform him as well.... and put him in his place!

Whoa whoa whoa, Miss Lippy! The part of the story I don't like is that the little boy gave up looking for Happy after an hour! He didn't put posters up or anything, he just sat on the porch like a goon and waited! That little boy's gotta think 'You got a pet. You got a responsibility!' If your dog is lost you don't look for an hour then call it quits! You get your ass out there and you find that fu*king dog!!! (Billy Madison)

Yeah... I know... just tried to give the guy a heads up and he went off. I had one new as a teen in 96 and told him but he knew more I guess lol. Even showed him one from the museum that was all original and he still thought he was right. I told him it was still a nice bike and if he parted it he would most likely get quite a bit of what he was asking. Tried being cool but the dude was a d bag deluxe with extra cheese!

Re: Talk Dyno to me!

I know I've asked this before, but I can't recover the info - does anyone have close up shots of the assembled gyro tabs on a '98-'99 Slammer? I'm assuming that you would use double nuts on the cable barrel adjuster since neither of the holes in the gyro mounts are threaded. Just want to confirm. Thanks in advance!

Yes there should be a nut between the “plates” and then one to lock it down.

Re: Talk Dyno to me!

So I'm building up this  '98 Slammer for the Flatland build off-it's coming out good and I take it for a little test spin (with no chain or brakes) Doesn't feel too bad, just the front end is slow & heavy as hell. I'm thinking it might not be bad if I swapped out the front end to a more modern (and lighter) set-up. As I'm completing the build, I'm looking at the bike and thinking "It sure does look choppered" and decide to take some measurements. Set it up on a level floor, same psi in the tires and checked with a 6' level across the pegs and an angle finder to make sure we're starting at 0. No matter how you measure it (off the headtube, off the fork leg front or back), the headtube angle is 73º, seat tube is 68º. not even close to the 75 & 71º it's purported to be. Is this an poor production control anomly, or something else?

Hi guy's
I have been making a chart to show all the frame specs of the PC's and Slammer's.  I have a few blank spots in my chart and would really appreciate any help in filling them in.  it's mostly the later slammers 94 on, as I don't have any in my stable at the moment.

here is a GT chart on frame measuring that finally was the "industry standard" in the mid 90's.  You may find some very early mag review bike tests that vary from my numbers here, mostly seat and head tube angles, and also BB height.  there was no standard until the mid 90's so these vary and are not always correct.  let me know if you prove me wrong and I'll gladly change it.  I have spent alot of time to get this far, and really would like to finish this and post it in the ref and research section when complete.

grey areas need your help.  other colors reflect changes.  verticle lines represent frame model changes.
