2019 GT Pro Performer
Old school meets new school.
Saw the new 2019 pro performer and just had to own one . All the old school style but with new school twist. Loved the look of it and is even better in the flesh .
All parts , 4130 frame and forks 1986 design, performer bars ,gt mallet stem, gt power series cranks, gt superlace hubs, 9 tooth driver , odyssey Springfield brakes, gt tyres , gt grips, gt layback pivatol post , gt pivatol seat ,gt pedals , kmc half link chain .
Just built up , more pics to come.

So is that the way it comes now? I hope so cause I wanted one this year, but the 2018s didn't come with a gyro or front brakes, and I didn't feel like doing that myself. Not that I couldn't, but I'd rather buy a complete like the Master that has everything on it out of the box. The only thing I see missing are pegs. Any come with it?

Thanks for the quick reply. Looking at the axles they seem short. Like you couldn't add pegs because the axle nuts wouldn't fit after you put pegs on, or are these the opposite kind of axles where the nuts are actually screws, and they screw into the hub? Do you think pegs can be added?

Hubs are female , I know that you can get pegs that have a hole in them that are held on by nuts. On my Redline I have odyssey pegs that just have a hole in them and are held by the axle nut.

I noticed you painted the seat tube and seat clamp, what did you use for paint? It looks killer. I just ordered a 2019 myself. I have a 2018 but had to add pegs, rotor, front brake,etc myself and chrome doesn’t look as good as yellow. Can’t wait to get it.

I really am sorry for not getting back to you about the paint etc . I work in a car bodyshop so got seat post painted at work and did seat clamp myself in garage at home using car paint in a can and lacquer etc .

I have a chrome 2018 version of this bike, and mine weighed in at exactly 13kg stock, or 28.6Lb
Only difference with mine is straight seat post, and old school forks with single pivot front brake.
There is no age limit for fun. If it makes you smile and hurts no'one, have at it.
its not a "kids" bike, it's a fun bike, BMX is awesome

Very nice looking GT. So cool they’ve come out with these. Like the Lineage series of Haro. New school tech with the classic looks. Love it.
