Re: Redline experts needed

No idea but comparing it to other Redline PL-20's it looks like 83 or 84..... good luck with your research.

Looking for a small Yeti made Schwinn Homegrown MTB frame. Or other Yeti made frames. Pair of Spurs tickets to all home games for sale or trade for 80's BMX or nice Odyssey Pitbull brake.
If I owe you feedback let me know.

Re: Redline experts needed

If those are original decals it is a 1983.

"That LiL Holeshot I built a couple years ago that took Best Mini was a nice bike, but I'll bet most people didn't even see the greatest thing about it. The frame and fork was in awesome condition, and when I started to build it I found residue of car wax in the welds. That means at one time, long ago some little kid enjoyed that bike so much that he sat and stared at it while he waxed it to perfection. That's the kinda stuff I appreciate, and can relate to very well."  John De Bruin-6/21/09

Re: Redline experts needed

Decals are original, frame was bought and rest of the bike was built around it. My old man built in when he owned a bike shop back in the 80's, but he could not recall when he purchased the frame. Just said it was around 85 or so, but I suppose the frame could have been a few years old at that point.

I think I may have an 1986  RL-20  prostyler, but no info on the serial number list. could be an 87 but color not listed.     serial number is R87081294 redberry. Anyone have any guesses as to year model?
