DG's

Vintage has a DG thread that's so cool! Let's see and hear anything to do with DG's. I am the original owner of a super pro and Skibel replica. Dg was my bike of choice bitd. and it helped that my dad owned a small bmx shop so I could have the cool stuff. I wish I had all those bikes back I raced bitd. kids are just starting and it has caused me to drag the old bikes out and build them again. Both frames will be back from paint on 3-25 DG blue rechrome was way to high! I will post pics so until then these are the befores.Kyle Fleming was my idol bitd.R.I.P.http://i26.tinypic.com/j8p3ch.jpghttp://i31.tinypic.com/fllpft.jpghttp://i31.tinypic.com/2gsnwhl.jpghttp://i27.tinypic.com/2s18wic.jpghttp://i25.tinypic.com/mvq2c5.jpghttp://i29.tinypic.com/2re4itx.jpghttp://i28.tinypic.com/154yhdx.jpg

Re: DG's

DG's are very cool!!

Their is one Local to me that I have been oogling over..
but it's Frame only, and I know how hard the forks are to find.

a DG would be one for my personal collection..
they represent a lot of Things " Old School " in bmx.

great photo's...

Thanks for sharing

Re: DG's

I am also a big fan of DG's...

This was a swap meet find that I sold to help pay for my kids education..I miss it, but it was the right thing to do.

Dude, I don't know how old your kids are, but believe me, start saving now. My wife and I make just enough money to put us above the line for grants, etc. While we did get some "loans" , we (along with my son) are shouldering the whole load. Luckily we started saving a few years ago, and we are making it. One year down, three more to go.

Was wondering if you still had the the DG without the gusset? and if so do you know the serial # ???
I am looking for my old race bike and I don't know that there was any other Skibel's without the DG stamped gusset in them other than my race bike.
