Well thats what we need, a person that actually built them. I can only say may theory is based on one thing, I bent a DS serial Performer without the 4130 stamp and it bent back straight very easily. The bent G serial Performer that has the 4130 stamp that I had did not bend back straight. The easy to bend Performer was so easy to bend I have come to believe its not made out of the same metal?

Sorry guys,  I think or thought I answered all the pms.  I got quite a few.  I really want to sell this stuff to raise funds for my new project.  If for some reason I have not gotten back to you please pm me again with your direct email.  I have taken pics of the individual part and I will send pics of what you ask for.  Please note the frame is sold.

Re: 1986 GT World Tour, Freestyle Tour, Pro Performer, Performer ?????????

All 86 performers were chromo, in 88 they went cheap and had hybrid frames.  86 American made world tours had two cable guides on the fork and had the serial number on the drop out.  The Japanese and Taiwanese frames had BB serial numbers and could be any bike woth the right components.  Thats why the American mades are so saught after.  They truely stand alone.
