1978 SE Racing JU-6

EXTREMELY rare round top tube JU-6!!

I bought this frame from Darren Chan several months ago.  It was in pretty rough shape.  I sent the frame DIRECTLY to Chip Bowers at C4 Labs to determine the authenticity of this frame.  After determining it was indeed a round top tube JU-6, I had Chip find out what color was the original finish.  He determined that it was "tough guy tan".  I then had the frame restored (and fully documented) by Chip at C4 Labs.  Special thanks to Chip for the restoration, Brian Hays for the NOS decals, and Darren Chan for selling me this grail.  For more info on this bike, search JU-6, in the catchall section.  Thanks for looking!

Re: 1978 SE Racing JU-6

i think if i had that kind of bread to throw at a bike, i'd have put gold bear traps and chain ring with chrome cranks, spider, seat tube and handlebars to go with the cook fork. however, this is still a gorgeous bike. even though there are no drop outs on the loop tail, that closed slot looks pretty cool. very nice score, and build. kudos!
