Those black cranks are not original. Nor are those green brake cables.

What makes it rare is everything on this bike came with this bike.
I only changed the rear tire tube.
no hunting down parts,, no re coating ,, no cracks or dings.
All original parts to the bike as it left the store.

Had this pass through my collection and unfortunately I wasn't smart enough to add it to the museum database. Not a Nomura or GJS by any means, but there's only one other in the museum:

He’s definitely asking $50,000 but says to make him a serious offer. That bike is probably one of the more rare bikes around, definitely an incredible piece of history! I love this bike! big_smilecool

OK I guess it's love or hate. Most would call it modern garbage. However, these frames (the V1, it changed shortly after) are pretty hard to find. When I submitted it it was literally the only one on the museum. There wasn't a single BSH on here at all. So I claim rare, under extraordinary circumstances tongue

It is also completely brakeless (well, it was) and not many were made like that.

Re: Show us your rarest bike!

Not the rarest bike in the world but rare as Ive only ever seen one other one.  ....or maybe its just because I so love it.
This is my 86 Royce Union Flite freestyle in original stunning lavender and perfect decals.  All the marks and stuff you see on the paint are either dirt or finger prints that will all polish off.  Bike is fully 4130 and built very well

I don't know that it's that "rare" but I don't think there is a ton of them floating around.  My 1984 PR240

Would like to find one of these !
