They would be much more expensive, but I've made friends over the years. smile
I paid about 50% of full retail.
Retail on these would be about as much as your Lineage Master, I think, in Canadian funds. When the wheels aren't right - build your own!
Now I just have to wait about another month until Winnipeg winter is finally over (it snowed today and was about -15C).

I cannot imagine paying that much for bicycle wheels, but if you got the hookups, why not, they look insane!

Well it sucks for the rest of Canada cause......it's gonna be like +13 C tomorrow for us on the west coast!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was thinking about this today - I have five very expensive sets of BMX wheels: three sets with titanium spokes (two of these sets with Profile hubs, one set with an SST Woody Itson Coaster Brake), and two sets of graphite Tuff Wheels (one set with cassette hub and titanium-bolted female axles, one set custom made for me with a Suntour coaster brake).

For me, BMX is about custom - not stock. At no point in the 1980s did I want a stock complete bike. Still, I'll admit my wheels are bit out there.

Re: Laced wheel thread

I hate building wheels.  they are such a rip off.  unfortunately they make the bike what it is.
