Build your bikes the way you want. Always looking for 85/86 dyno but don't always have money for them.

Re: Talk Dyno to me!

that's Johnny U's frame.... the previous owner built it up for his GF, and she really liked her old Dyno decals or something like that. So he custom created these decals for her bike.,

Cool. Thanks for the heads up Brian. Didn't research it to see. Pretty cool. If I was going to build up a mid school other than a Dyno that would be a fun project!

How's the D-30 coming along?

I almost bought it twice... but didn't cause I'm in the middle of the Dyno...... it's coming along good. The last pieces are in the mail now: seat post, freewheel, pedals, maybe some smalls too... forget, lol. There's a possibility I'll start building it this weekend...

1988 OG Dyno Detour (Owner's Manual and Sales Receipt)

Deinotherium ("terrible beast" derived from Ancient Greek, deinos meaning "terrible", therion meaning "beast") was a large prehistoric relative of modern-day elephants that appeared in the Middle Miocene and survived until the Early Pleistocene.

I'd ask for clearer pics of the welds. My first reaction is a no. Especially since he says they were taken off a brand new bike. hmm

This angle screams no to me. Looks like the cross bar is tack welded to the uprights. But I've been wrong before.

Ask him what brand new bike it was taken off of. tongue

Re: Talk Dyno to me!

Well, I basically finished this up over the weekend. Still have to put on the chrome SR cranks. Also have a GT coin decal (thanks Christian) to put on seat post and a Pro Performer decal for the bars...
Still have to take off the Gyro cup too. Realized I ran a rotor BITD half way through installation (yeah, my moronic fault)... so... F the detangler.

I'll tell ya what Christian, lol..... riding bikes from the 80's sucks, lol. Yeah, she looks nice.... but man, it feels like a turd to ride. And she's all tight and dialed in too... just compared to anything New School... lol. This wil lhands down, 100% be my last old school build, lol. But I'm glad I did it.
