On the road to recovery, top pic is the red Intrikat i lost to the fire here in santa rosa, ca in october... bottom pic is the newest Intrikat frame i picked up with some help from S&M(many Thanx!!!) http://uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/22850/54a037e7-930b-48b1-931c-5651317462775a9335b3d8.jpeg

My plan is to get the new frame and bars powder coated the same color as my old one, I did find out what color they used..... it is called "Red Baron"

I am looking for a 25T Shield wrap L7 if anyone knows of one, let me know...

Re: S&M hoarders unite

Just got this 92 Holmes and was wondering what the original headtube sticker looked like. Is it the new one that comes in the sticker pack they sell? Has one on there that I believe to be an older replacement. http://uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/246580/img_20180227_1118197335a95b0c8ac.jpg

Looks original to me but it's odd it isn't faded or scratched.

There seemed to be a bit of mix and match back then.  The decal Nick posted is proper for the decal set that is on your seatpost tube.  That seems to be an original Shield decal though as I've never seen a repop that was a shield on a clear square, only OG ones like that.  Please don't pull it off.  Plus, the repop decals from S&M are not printed on a solid white background, so the red looks translucent and doesn't look right at all.
Please post more pics of that bike too!! smile
what other decals are on it?   I've got a few and I'm curious about your serial number as well  smile

Re: S&M hoarders unite

I got it from a bike store that has a sister store in the town over that stopped carrying bmx parts. It was in the basement of the first store for many years till recently. Couple months ago I asked them if they would sell it and they said the were going to restore it for display. They thought it was a dirtbike and other than that didn't know much about it. I asked them again this past Saturday and he said for the right price. Told him to name it and he said 250. We settled on 200 and it was mine. Took a look at the serial and realized it was a Holmes and also noticed the sandwiched dropouts on frame and fork and knew it had to be an earlier model. Tore it apart and have been cleaning it since. Just needs red tires and seat and it'll be a presentable survivor. All other sticker other than headtube and basketball slams are new. Has added gussets up front and on seat tube/ tri junctionhttp://uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/246580/img_20180227_1316254415a95e24b78.jpg

Ha I wanted redwalls. But those seem difficult to find. Just knew that it needed the tires with the tread that I always referred to as "Scooby Doo paws" and never really liked but I felt were fitting for this build

I like it. I think I will try to order it soon. The last pack I got was all red and black stuff, not very interesting.
