I wouldn't sell your frame unless your survival depended on it! It's really awesome to see a bike in the condition that yours is in - raced and taken care of, then extremely well preserved since. I picked up the Monocoque I have built up right now about 4 or 5 years back on ebay for $167 shipped, sold the forks, seat, post, stem, bars & brakes that came on it, and ended up with $20 and the frame! As far as what someone would pay for your frame today...new back in the day they were $800 for frame only...Now, you would think the price would be at least this if not more due to their rarity, however, I would say a 10/10 today could go anywhere from $500-$1000. It really just depends on what the buyer is willing to pay and what the current market is like...right now is NOT the time to sell, lol. There's one on ebay right now that's listed for $1600-$1700...which I think is a little excessive... I'm looking forward to seeing a few pictures once you get the build going! keep in touch! I'll have some new pictures of mine posted pretty soon as well with a few part upgrades!

Re: 1994 Haro Monocoque
I recently got a digital copy of the 1993 Haro BMX Catalog (http://s1202.photobucket.com/albums/bb3 β¦ X-Catalog/) and realized that there is a picture of the original Haro Monocoque in it (see picture below). The frame looks slightly different than your frame (rear triangle and dropouts), but I thought I'd share it with you anyways . Also, according to the '93 Haro catalog, the frame shown below has the following geometry: seat tube angle (SA) = 71.5 deg. ; head tube angle (HA) = 74 deg. ; bottom bracket height (BB) = 11.5 in. ; wheelbase length (WB) = 37 in. ; and top tube length (TT) = 19.0 in. (http://i1202.photobucket.com/albums/bb3 β¦ 993_16.jpg). Lastly, there is no mention of the Haro Monocoque in Haro's '91, '92, '94, or '95 catalogs...

Re: 1994 Haro Monocoque
Yeah, it looked really clean. Went for a pretty fair price as well...I bid on it a few times but it ran a little out of my $$ range at the moment. ...finishing grad school right now and getting a little lower on funds than I would like. Couldn't pass up an opportunity on the McMahon though...didn't have one of those yet! Now the hunt is on for a set of MRC forks and some batwing v brakes. Though the Marzocchi sinister that's on it is NOS...hard decision to make, lol.

Seems like the year of the first run of those keeps getting earlier and earlier... Had no idea that they ever had 1" headtubes.

LOL, seems like! I hadn't seen that prototype ad from 1993 before and am really glad that pharv shared it with everyone. I also just submitted my black 003XL Monocoque frame as well and included some info on the specifics. The black frame is the only 1 1/8" head tube Monocoque I have seen. I really need to break out the old bmxer mag collection and run some scans of articles when I get the chance.
