Finally built something

Had this Auburn RX frame set hanging around just waiting to be built. Not exactly a master mechanic but tonight I promised myself it would at least resemble a complete bike before I went to bed. Pretty satisfied. Had to steal the bars off my other Auburn so it looked done. lolcoolhttp://uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/166090/6a7ebb06-0e73-4ea8-bee2-a9331a965a115a58428def.jpeg

Re: Finally built something

Never understood the thinking behind the two piece frame but always thought they were cool.  Nice build.

So they sold different rear ends then?  Cool concept, didn't realize that's why it was a 2 piece frame until now.

Re: Finally built something

I believe they went out of business before actually producing the extra rear ends. I liked them but I admit I didn't really appreciate the idea. I had to race on the old Stony Creek (Ontario) track that was super tight and the old Track 2000 in Milton was my home track. It had the biggest starting hill I ever raced on, it was a fast track. I knew a couple guys changed their sprockets, but most guys didn't. Maybe in today's world of racing......

Re: Finally built something

Very Nice!!! cool

I'm picking out a Thermos for you. Not an ordinary Thermos for you. But the extra best Thermos that you can buy, with vinyl and stripes and a cup built right in.
