Nice. But don't ever try to wear them. I bought a pair of NOS Mondo's (Red ones) to ride with and after one day the nose shredded and the heel came loose on both shoes. They need only be for show.
Lol...definetely for display!

Nice
Build your bikes the way you want. Always looking for 85/86 dyno but don't always have money for them.

Re: Talk Dyno to me!
I wasn't planning on keeping the below frame, but it's growing on me, and dependent on if I can score some bent forks in the the next week or so.
It's a DH1288 SN#, so 89 Model year Compe or Detour. No 880 Mounts. I can't find a copy of the 89 Dyno Catalog anywhere. What happened to Dyno in 89 and why is the frame so heavy! Frame is currently sitting in an OA bath.

I like to wear sneakers on my hands because it's much better when you crash - and if you're wearing sneakers on your hands, you're gonna crash.

Thanks for the props guys - I thought it turned out nice (although stupid heavy). When the temp gets above frozen, I gotta get her dialed a little better and try to get a proper session on it.

Collection Complete. If you want to see my actual bikes http://bmxmuseum.com/forums/viewtopic.php?id=633623. I stopped adding to MY BIKES because of hassle of uploading
HuffyRider87 claims I'm a 'seathole' because he low-balled me on a bike, claiming its worth nothing and 'just a Huffy' and I told his ass whats up. Just a Huffy you wanted, and dont have. LOL.

Re: Talk Dyno to me!
273 pages.
When Dyno first started everyone thought of them as a poor man's GT. The first ones were actually built with scrap Performer tubing. Very strange how Dyno managed to shake that stigma. It was still present in the early 2000's by many.

Hmmmm. Maybe the grown ups. I was 15 when I got my 1986 Dyno Compe II NIB from Rockville, and the $$275+ seemed expensive enough to me.
I tossed up whether to get it or the Pro Performer. Price was about the same, but I went with what I considered a fresher look!
Wes BMX
86 Pro Performer - $288.95
86 Dyno Compe II - $278.95
This was the add that had me hooked. I mean ...come on. How cool was that BITD?

Yes. That side should start with the D up top. And the pad is backwards!
And look at the height of the headset. Guess they weren't sticklers for details!
