Re: NEW SE 26" PROTOTYPE

I like riding my SEs, so I'm looking forward to the other 4 models they're supposed to produce this Summer. The only gears I want on a BMX are the ones that connect your butt to your feet.

Put rack eyelets on it and it would make a killer city bike.

SE actually started the SS 700c bike fad with their Draft frame back in 2007.

SE has been selling road bikes since 2013, check their archive section on their website.  Don't see one offered in their current 2018 lineup though.

Not to me.

Me, either. But 40 years ago, BMX was defined as racing. It's evolved to include many other facets. Hence, the definition HAS changed. And continues to.

I tend to believe BMX is defined by the soul of the rider, not the type of bike OR the way it is ridden.

So, to those that ride from the heart, no, I guess it hasn't changed. But to those looking in, the definition has expanded greatly.

NYC is littered with those draft and lager frames u-locked to poles stripped of parts, bent up and rusted...
