1986 Skyway Street Beat

1986 Skyway Street Beat

Streetbeat Survivor STOLEN!!!

I had been looking for a grey/blue streetbeat for quite a while. i underbid on ebay and lost a nos 87 with 990 mounts to fairlyodddad (check his out) amazing. so i put out a wtb and bikesnbuses sent me a link to this bike for a great price on the bay. it took alot of cleaning and degreasing. i took apart the bottom bracket, cleaned and repacked it. i scrubbed the f out of the mags but didnt get em as clean as i would have liked to. it was quite a project for me. it took me over 6 months to get it cleaned up and replace the grips and find some grey/tanwall tires for it. its a rainy day today but i wanted to post it already. i will take better pics and post them another day. everything is original except the nos bubble font grey Ame grips i added, Chen Shin tires and the nos Skyway pegs. oh! and the nos baby blue skyway brake pads. this model came with skyway stamped brake levers, which is cool but they are pretty beat up. i will post pics of them when i update this.
2cd pic is from the ad on the bay
