1980 Redline MX-III

1980's BMX Survivor

I've had this bike since I wheeled it out of the local bike shop in 1981, or so.1) The first 4 photos show the bike similar to how it looked when I was riding it throughout the early 80's when it had black Skyway Tuff wheels with a coaster brake.2) The second 4 photos show the bike similar to how it looked when I added the alloy wheels shown, and a rear handbrake around the end of the 80's.At the beginning of the 90's, the bike was hung up and stored in a garden shed for about 25 years, and the way the bike was positioned the front wheel was directly behind the shed window. Back in the day, the front hub was a richer red than the rear.
