chrome powder coat

has anyone here used eastwood'c chrome powder coat?

if so how did it work out for you?

I haven't used the Eastwood stuff but my powder coater showed me what his "chrome" powder coating looks like and it ain't nothin' near chrome. I wouldn't expect much, but I could be wrong. cool

thanks.   I have seen some on youtube that look awful. the eastwood video I watched it was hard to tell.  in some lighting it looked good.  others not so much

Btw the super Chrome powder needs to have s clear coat over it which does take some of the shine off it.

I'm having my Trickstar powder coated with it, using the super Chrome as a base and a candy red top coat.

I've discussed chrome powder coating with my local guy several time. The chrome powder coating comes out of the oven looking like chrome, but has no UV protection in the finish. I was warned the chrome powder coat without a top coat of clear will turn milky white when exposed to sun light.
