1987 GT Performer
1987 GT Performer
My Old GT all cleaned up!
I got this GT Performer for Christmas in 1987...hands down, one of my greatest Christmas presents! As with my other bikes, it sat in the attic for the last 20 or so years, but I pulled them all down for a dose of TLC. This bike was grungy as hell and was missing alot of stuff, but I scrounged a few things, repopped some others and purchased the final few things from the classified. Lots of cleaning later and It shines again...ready for some Miami hoppers! lol
- Original Frame, Forks, Bars, Wheels & Brakes- Haro Fusion Cranks & GT Power series sprocket That I've had forever with some newer GT alum pedals- Old Velo Green seat that I had laying around since the 80's- AME tri green flangeless grips- Odyssey Chrome Lay Back Post- polished GT midschool seat clamp (till i can find a better one)- Pink Kenda K55's from Porkchop

Will have to check it out. I remember watching some reality TV show as a teen back in the early 90s (before the internet era) and finding out what he had done. It still shocks me to this day.
