86 Free Agent Cruiser from Mike Miranda
Saw an ad on CL yesterday and it said it was Mike Miranda's bike. I had my doubts but it was a good deal so I made the hour drive to go check it out. When I got there low and behold it was Indeed Mike Miranda. Stayed for about a half hour and listened to some great stories about how he got started and the different teams he rode for. I would have loved to have talked longer but it was late and I didn't want to keep him up too late. Didn't get too much info from him on this bike but I will call him later and find out more. Hands down one of the coolest and nicest guys I have met in the hobby. Down to earth and a real pleasure to talk to. Anyway it's not my greatest score but definitely one of my favorites because of how cool he was.

Sweet score. BTW, next time you see Severin, tell him thanks for welding my Supercross!

Re: 86 Free Agent Cruiser from Mike Miranda
I know he rode for CW and Hutch. Was he riding the F/A because it was more his size? Plenty of riders were using other companies frames with their sponsors stickers back then.

Re: 86 Free Agent Cruiser from Mike Miranda
Free Agent was the last company he raced for 88-89 not sure why he was on a 86 or 87 frame, maybe he liked it better.

Re: 86 Free Agent Cruiser from Mike Miranda
It was listed as Mike Mirandas bike like maybe his wife posted it. I wish the pics were bigger too but I am terrible on my phone and that's what size they came out. If you click on them they will blow up though. As far as not getting a pic with him and the bike...trust me I thought about it. It's just that he was being so cool I did t want to seem weird and potentially annoy him.

Re: 86 Free Agent Cruiser from Mike Miranda
So how come this frame set came back up for sale so quickly on eBay ??? (I bought it just because it looked a decent frame regardless of it's history) & it's just landed here with me in the UK & will be my daily rider when the summer comes back around... Cant wait to build her up......
