1982 Patterson Racing Long
1982 Patterson Racing Long
OG build with top of the line parts
Just recently finished a full rebuild on this one. Bike was originally from Delaware and built at Golden Wheels bike shop. Even has the cool sticker still intact.
The bike needed a good cleaning but came out pretty nice. Just took it out for short spin around the block and still impressed on how nice it rides. Great geometry and super low center of gravity. Always thought Patterson were some of the coolest bikes growing up.

Re: 1982 Patterson Racing Long
A very understated build, which looks more like a normal street bike than a racing thoroughbred. As nice as the latter are, it's nice to see something looking more like people actually used bitd! Good stuff!
Check out my 1983 VDC-built Trident, 1983 Kuwi Laserlite, 2010 GT Ultrabox 2, 2011 Crupi race rig and prototype Quamen, plus the all things Crupi & old school scene in Japan threads. Always interested in buying used, mid-school race plates and pads - UGP, Knucklebone and Lizard Skins especially.

Thanks MickRich393,
Yes this one is not glamorous but quality, smooth riding and IMO a classic racing bike that was one of the best bike of its time.
