1984 SE Racing P.K. Ripper

OG candy apple red, OG decals -SOLD-

Came across this one by coincidence from the original owner. While buying a bridgestone mountain bike the seller mentioned he had another mountain bike he wanted to sell.  I told him I might be interested and right before taking off he also mentioned that he had an old PK Ripper.  A few weeks later I checked out the other mountain bike and saw the ripper in his garage.  After close inspection and taking a few photos asked if he wanted to sell it.  He said his friend was going to buy it but backed out for some reason.  We didn't even talk price at the time and I left.  Another few weeks passed and I couldn't stop thinking about it, admittedly sometimes I obsess!  Finally we came to an agreed upon price and I happily picked up this true survivor.  Other than the tires and grips this bike is completely original.  The best part about it is how well bike was cared for.  Other than cleaning, taking it apart, regreasing all bearings and installing new tires and grips this is just as it purchased over 30 years ago.  The candy apple red color really pops in the sunlight.  Enjoy!
