1998 SE Racing Quadangle

bombsQUAD....A Quad, loaded with blue, billet Bombshell gear.A secondary "star" theme is visible by the stem, chainring & valve stem caps.
This bike turned out very lightweight too, surprisingly.
Main bits:
1998 Quad frame
McMahon forks
TNT Revolver hubs
Bombshell rims, cranks, brakes
Star stem, chainring
Kenda Konversion tires
Haro Fusion 'bars
REAL '90s mtb brake lever

Love it 7075. Blue and chrome goodness abound here. Super clean like the rest of your herd. cool Love the parts combo....especially the forks.

Re: 1998 SE Racing Quadangle

Thanks for the props, Grunger !!!
I had a chrome & red killing machine, so I had to do a chrome & blue one to add to the stable!
Those McMahon forks are really nice, and I reckon did go well with the frame etc.
I might just mention quickly that they came from a super cool member, my buddy Rob (cb900rr).

Re: 1998 SE Racing Quadangle

Wow, that is beautiful!  Love the chrome/polish! What kind of grips are those?  I have never seen them before.  They look very cool, but how do they function?

Cheers, gjs - thanks for the comments!
The grips are billet, cnc-d & ano'd blue.
Yep, they're different for a bmx... perhaps not the most ideal, but they do work - no problem.
Nice DK xxl you've built up, too cool

Re: 1998 SE Racing Quadangle

You Aussies got mid school down to a science.  That thing is stunning!

Hutch Fun Facts: All main line Hutch's with digits only S/N (no letters or baseballs) on the rear drop outs were US made and had their dropouts stamped between late '83 and '86.  Obviously the frame manufacture would occur slightly after that, even if they just threw 'em in a bucket randomly.  There is an obvious date code in that the first 2 digits seem to be the month and the 3rd digit is pretty obviously the last digit of the year running from '83-'86.

Monumental Build...Nicest quad I've seen. Outstanding! Definitely a favorite.
