hey again..i just got my 2nd gen profile cranks rechromed...they did an amazing job,sum say i should have left them alone, but they needed rechroming bad..looks better than new now....so im happy big_smile  i paid 120 dollars shipped  for the rechroming.. .i think it was worth it..but i hope i made the right choice.

why didnt you do the cages ? having them powdered ?

I always restore my bikes to look new. Because I never had new when I was a kid. The only thing that needed chrome was the bodies cages looked fine to me

Where did you get the cages? I'm using a set of original pro pedals on my mountain bike and the teeth on the cages are all nearly ground off from rock hits. You guys would probably have a heart attack. These pedals used to be mint. I'm thinking of retiring them so rest easy.

those are the cages that came with the pedals I just polished them
