MOST ICONIC OLD SCHOOL FREESTYLE BMX TOP 5

I have seen several threads with reference to what is the  "The Holy Grail " but of course Human nature means everyone replies with the bike they as an individual most want. Now an old 80s Catalouge Iron House is very rare (probably because they were so s**t and they broke in half making them easier to throw on the tip) so very hard to find, but that doesnt make it a Holy Grail. More a personal want (lost childhood etc etc)
Its a shame as i would love to know what are considered the ultimate top 5 bikes to find.........

However ..... to make this easier i thought i would ask for the following...

Name what you would Consider the top 6 Iconic Old School Freestyle Bikes ?

(This may avoid a list of what we are looking for or would actually would like to own/build)

Whether you like em or not ...which would you consider most iconic ?

Personally speaking

Haro Freestyler 1982
Skyway Ta 1983
Haro Sport 1984
Hutch Trickstar
GT Pro Performer 84
Pk Ripper

But hey, im interested in what you guys think :-)

Re: MOST ICONIC OLD SCHOOL FREESTYLE BMX TOP 5

I know most of you would consider most of these mid school, but I'm not gonna lose sleep over that

5. Bully: First rider owned company to take production to Taiwan
4. Hoffman Condor: Almost everyone else was going way overbuilt.  Condor was just right.
3. Haro Freestyler: Fine. Toss a platform on a race bike and call it a "freestyle" bike.  Invented the marketing of "Freestyle".
2. Mongoose Motomag/Supergoose/whatever early goose:  Everyone had at least one of these in my hood when I was a kid.
1. S&M Dirt Bike: I don't know where to start.  One of the (if not the) first rider owned company.  First bike to break the "Freestyle bike mold". In fact the first bike that didn't give a shit about being a freestyle/race bike.  I'm almost certain the Dirt Bike was in continuous production longer than any other bike.

Re: MOST ICONIC OLD SCHOOL FREESTYLE BMX TOP 5

To me, iconic is that which defined the genre.  Not something "unique" or "rare", but rather something almost ubiquitous and synonymous with the genre being discussed.  In that vein:

Mongoose Californian and/or Decade
Dyno (Detour, etc...they all looked the same)
GT Performer
Schwinn Predator
Torker--because there is no master without Torker

Honorable mention:
SE Quad

Kuwahara deserves more kudos than anything Hutch ever did--as far as "iconic" goes.  Trick Stars and RL20II's may look unique, but--in my book--they aren't "iconic".  Far too rare and/or regional to really be the poster-child of OS freestyle.  Same reason why--as much as I love them--I can't put a Raleigh Ultra/Electro/Hyper Shock on here.

It's like the man says, there's no problems...only solutions.
