2008 Intense Sabot Pro 24

Flat black with red accents.  My first complete build from a bare frame!

Scored the new frame on eBay, then started gathering parts...  Sinz forks, bars, brake and seat clamp.  Some FSA pieces and a White Industries 18 tooth freewheel.  Nice and light, smooth and tight!  Rides great - just a neighborhood cruiser for me!

Re: 2008 Intense Sabot Pro 24

I built the same bike in flat white, and it's really one of my favorite bikes.   That frame geometry is perfect.
I see you've got yours set up sort of like an oversized 20" with the pro bars.    If you ever decide to change them, I recommend the GHP cruiser bars.

Sure I'll look like a bear at the circus, but I'll get a little fun out of it.

Re: 2008 Intense Sabot Pro 24

Hi - I think those tires were Duro brand, and I believe I got them off evil-Bay - I don't have them on the bike anymore - the Skyways were a bit soft for me and I sold them with the tires on.  I'm 6'3" and over 200 lbs.  Now the old Sabot has 48 spoke Sun BFR's and Intense tires - much stiffer, and quite a bit better braking too!  Now I can actually ride the bike!

Re: 2008 Intense Sabot Pro 24

HI Dug6, Sweet bike,  I've just picked up one myself for summer cruising and its just a little on the low side for me and I noticed on yours the seat post seems a lot longer is it a 410mm do you know? and do you know the diameter ie 22.2, 27.2 etc/

Thanks
