Re: 1980 Cinelli MX.1
Awesome build.
I seen one of these for sale a few months ago and I wish I could have bought it. I didn't because I knew to do it right it would have been an expensive build.
cyclochris did it right !
A frame of this kind deserves as many Campy parts as possible, and it has.
Very well done !

Re: 1980 Cinelli MX.1
Hopefully cyclochris doesn't mind me posting, but sub 20 is more of an accurate statement. Still impressive. We weighed it when he brought it over a while back.

Re: 1980 Cinelli MX.1
Would you trade? ( desperately tryin....)
Its unfair though! Why youvguys dont stick to American brands, huh!
I spent hours as a kid in front of this bike inside that shop...astronomically expensive for my father.
F/f only would be fine...
Wanted:
RNC brake lever, bolts and bar ends
Cinelli CMX frame

Re: 1980 Cinelli MX.1
I have to come back and look at this every once in a while. It's one of the few that I regret selling. Do you still have it and is it still built the same ?

Re: 1980 Cinelli MX.1
Yup still have it exactly the same. I need a cinelli stem at some point. It’s the only thing that is missing from my dream parts list for this bike.
