Re: 1992 Hawk F-20 XL

Those do not look like the Forks that go on that model.

Re: 1992 Hawk F-20 XL

ditto that about the forks not being easy to find... I've been looling the tubing back by the chainstays and just noticed that its tapered. and also noticed the top tube extends beyond the seat tube. I havent seel that on any of mine- hmmm, must be an early Hawk with newer decals. if it is an early generation than those forks are correct- do the forks come with 2 drop out slots? hard to see...
also, I won your red Hawk on the bay- cant wait to get it-  smile

Re: 1992 Hawk F-20 XL

These forks had been modifided to only have one slot??  But I had to get what I could!  And yes thiis is an early frame, the tapered chainstays is one way to tell...

The red one is on the way...

Cool frame and fork. Don't put any silly parts on it, for the build!

Re: 1992 Hawk F-20 XL

Correct me if I am wrong but if that is an XL than that is a 1 1/8" headest and those forks are 1" correct? Those forks look to be the first generation. And that frame looks like second generation.

Re: 1992 Hawk F-20 XL

I've seen a frame on sale for $200, but just the frame itself.  I knew the fork will be a pain to come by that's why I didnt' buy it.
