1982 Patterson Long

Wanted a 2o" that I could actually ride, so I had the frame stretched to make it a 22".

Always wanted a Patterson, so I found the frame & fork which were in sad shape. Seat mast was cut, frame rusted & dropouts bent. Alot of headache & a few dollars later & I came up with this (same color scheme I had as a kid only it was a Hutch).

True Torch Lengthened it for me. However, the place that did the chrome didn't clean it very well so now it is apart and I'm looking to get the frame redone.

Re: 1982 Patterson Long

So you added 2.5 inches? Wouldn't it have been cheaper to use a laid back post?

I suppose,But I'm like 6'2" & i wanted something different. There was a blue Trickstar on here that is 22"; that's what got me going. And feeling pretty good if guys like MARKYP like it: he has some of the coolest bikes I've ever seen.cool

Re: 1982 Patterson Long

That is brassy!  I have a bike that I'd like to shorten.  How much would you guesstimate that would cost?
