Classic Old School Mongoose

My latest build of an old school classic, 1984 Mongoose Cali. Originally, frame was very rusty but an OA bath managed to shift this but has left some pitting. Decided to go for a black and chrome colour theme. This has become my daily rider.

Fantastic bike Mr Bilton. I always wanted a Mongoose back in the day. Love the chrome and black theme.

I love it.great job on the build. I just finished an 84 that I'm gonna submit this week once I get the brakes in the mail. Curious - did the oa bath leave behind pitting that was already there or cause pitting ? My frame was in very good shape so I didn't feel it was necessary,but I'm about to give an oa bath to a mach one frame I'm about to start and it has pitting in the chrome.thank u for your help and again- nice goose!
