Re: The wifes ride .... Lets see all the wife rides

I have built a few bikes for the wife. The best was the Bitchin' Camaro that I built up. She only rode it a few times so I parted it out........
http://i470.photobucket.com/albums/rr68/zachmilhous/S5001050.jpg

After spending too much money on the FBM that she barely rode, I built her this one. It is a 1995 Schwinn XS ENF. Spray-bombed Pumpkin Orange with some Ebay Troy Lee decals and built entirely from spare parts.

No, I think the original post is hillarious.

But my reply to your son's hypothetical conversation question would be: "Son, somebody played a joke on their friend and put a "nerf missle" where the seat goes so his friend couldn't sit down."

I could see validation in your complaint if the original poster had an exact anatomically correct "replica" on the bike.  Instead, I think you are making a logical leap to think that if a kid see's that, then he is going to know exactly what it is, and somehow, this website is to blame.

How about just saying "Son, somebody played a joke on their friend and put a fake penis where the seat goes so his friend couldn't sit down"?

His point was having to explain to his son what it was because it was posted on here.  My response was based on that.  I guess you missed that point.  And it wasn't a fake penis, it was a d!ldo.

I don't want to hi-jack this thread so I'm going to change back to the original topic.  Everytime I ask my wife if she would like a bike, her response is always the same, "why would I need a bike? I can just ride one of yours."

Re: The wifes ride .... Lets see all the wife rides

My wife had been racing the black Standard 125RC in MY BIKES.  She jumped on the custom Standard 26" I had built and never looked back.  So she's riding it now.  It's in MY BIKES also.  We just added a little color with the seat and put her all black components on it.

Re: The wifes ride .... Lets see all the wife rides

ReVive:

Newest effort to get her to ride.  Shorter top tube, Taller handlebars (but not too wide), cushy seat, Sparkly paint with Hot Pink highlights.  I just can't tell her how much it cost.  If anybody has a pair of used Pink Pretty and Strong Chris King hubs, Limited Edition Profile Pink hubs, or the Phil Woods Pink Hubs -we gotta talk (I can't afford them new, but maybe used....)
