Re: 1997 King Bike Co. Liberty

I have one in mailbox blue. But I did not opt. to mill the steer tube out to 1 1/8" The Original 1 inch threadless forks that came with it were stupid burly!  Im going to have to go pay my storage a visit and dig out that frame.

Re: 1997 King Bike Co. Liberty

I used to have 2 of these (Matte Black and Gloss Blue), probably my all time favorite frame. If any of you guys who have one sitting around are looking to sell, please let me know, I'm feeling nostalgic and I'd love to build one up

Looking for: King Liberty, Ramp Room TAJ.

May one day part with: (2) Basic STHs, Standard Lengthy (platform), T1 Barcode (Kastan), Kink Phantom Lord

Re: 1997 King Bike Co. Liberty

If any of you decide to sell, I will buy. Kings were some of the best frames built and felt just right. I wish I still had mine.

I'm looking for a Mid-90's Standard Lengthy (Platform frame from 95-98). Contact me thru PM.

These are my favorite bikes of all times. I worked for KING in Texas when these were being made and they are BURLY! Still have my original from back in 97 as well as an extra F&F&stem and some extra parts. LOVE this!

Even after 5 years on this site, I still regularly come back to look at this bike. So damn awesome.

What's the name of the blue paint?

I brought old pics from BMX plus to the powdercoating shop and made the decision there, settled on "True Blue" to be different than all my other black bikes
