1997 Haro Zippo

A Retro Master designed to enjoy the incomparable design from the 80s without missing the most important improvements that technology has brought.

In 2007, I had an opportunity to visit a bike shop in the US. (Actually, the bike shop is in Huntington Beach!!!) I was shocked and had an argument with the owner, because in my opinion there were only "Dirt Jump Bikes". That's when I began realizing that Freestyle Bikes were disappearing and I would have a lot of work ahead.

Frame: Haro Zippo - 4130 Chromoly main tubes (removable 990 studs and inspired F4 2006 cable guides welded by a TIG weld professional)
Fork: 2006 Haro F4 Straight Shooter (4130 Chromoly)
Headset: Dk MPH sealed
Handlebars: 88 Haro Kneesaver
Stem: 2006 Haro F4
Rims: Alex DM24 48 6061 T6 (chromed)
Hubs: Sun Ringle 48 Jabba with an ACS Crossfire 13T freewheel (rear) and Joytech 48 (front)
Brakes: Tektro U Brakes (front and rear) with Dia-Compe Tech 77 levers
Cranks: Salt Plus with a sealed bottom bracket and a 36T sprocket modified to look like the original Peregrine
Pedals: Evo (recently changed)
Tires: Kenda 1.75 (I tried, but can't stand her look with modern HP "balloon" tires. Speaking of which... WHERE ARE THE HP 1.75s??????????????)
Lots of adaptations, but everything working perfectly!

Now that it's posted, I can ride her carefully, but with no remorse.

Thanx for visiting!
