Just made it, survivor 79 Torker. Was spray bomb a long time ago. Got this in a trade from a good friend. It was bought at a flea market from original owner who said it sat in his garage 25 years plus. Just clean and grease up.
79 DG, but I need to confirm it

Here is a bike that I had for along time. A 1979 Laguna, I found it on Criagslist for $55 dollars. Everything was original on this bike. It now lives in Santa Barbara.

Nice Joe!
It looks like one of the 1st gen 79 Laguna's that only came in red, blue & black. Fork decal looks right but the frame stickers look like the newer style...
Very cool.

I had to subscribe ... I LOVE the look of 70's stuff; both the buff and tough muscle earlier 70's and the developing later 70's lightweight racers.
Here's the only thing I own that qualifies:

Re: 1979- and older BMX post here. bikes, parts, adds, gear anything!!!!!!
Here are my '70s builds.
First up, the 1977 Competitor Cheetah, a replica of my first BMX bike:
Here's a photo of my Race Inc, right at the tail end of 1979
Bob Reedy pedals, after a little clean up
My late 70s CBR
mmmm...
Some NOS Reddy cages on my CBR:
My late 70s nickel Patterson
...and some of it's hardware
P.R.E. stickers (reproductions) from Issaquah's best BMX shop
Looptail Quad, Stu replica
GBoy
Here's a Competitor Super Cheetah. I want one of these more than air itself
My current project, a Jammin Jimmy Weinert
Another future project, my '78 Robinson with bent forks
Robinson Pads, recently bought (not my photo - we dont do doileys)
My '79 Robinson
All my bikes are for sale except the Cheetahs. Inquire within.
