Re: What's your best(cheapest) SCORE to date?

I gave an 94 Dyno away for free with ukai rims, kashimax seat. GT bars. Tuf neck and sugino one piece cranks to a 16 year old  young kid was struggling in high school and was dealt a shitty hand.  His dad was an alcoholic and his mom had passed away.  My  buddy is a guidance councilor and told me that he had this kid he was working with and  the kid liked my bikes which he saw on line on some if these postings.. When I heard the story, my  heart went out to him.  I gave my bike to my buddy for the kid  and my buddy made a deal with the  kid that every B or better the kid received on a quiz or test that he got to choose a part to keep.  The result is the kid did well and is going to votech next year to become  an electrician. Thus was my best score and BMX gave me the opportunity to do a good thing.  I never met the kid because I wanted to remain anonymous... Thought it would be better for the kid to give credit to my buddy the teacher / guidance councilor so when he looks back on this he has a positive feeling towards education and tells his kids what hard work can do for you regardless of the cards you're dealt

Wtb another quadangle, I mean hutch no no a redline.  Screw it ship em all in!

Re: What's your best(cheapest) SCORE to date?

This was my first score in '06, ironically I found it the day after I stumbled onto this site.  Found this all original Schwinn Predator Freemag, the lady was walking it out to the curb on junk day.  I just so happened to be on my way to pick my girl up from work and I pulled up and grabbed it.  The lady seemed very surprised that I wanted it.  I bet her son is mad at her!
