2000 S&M Kris Bennett

My S&M Bennett built up to the same spec as mine was BITD.

I had one of these back in 2000 and loved it so decided to build another for old times sakes. Ive tried to get it as close as I can to how I had mine. I got the frame off of Ebay and it was in great condition. It looked like it had never had pegs run on it, and there were none of the Usual dents or chainstay rash. It had been rattle canned black over the original red though, and the black was peeling back all over so didnt look good at all. I sent it off to get powdered back to red again just like mine was originally, and then pieced together all the parts I needed for the build. It turned out pretty close to my original one, and what even better is that the complete build was surprisingly cheap as well.

Oh, man!  That thing is dripping in mid-school awesomeness!  Instant favorite, thanks for the eye candy!  Double seat post clamp really stands out and they are really underrated.

Out of the 100s of bikes I saw at MK17 this year ... this was the one that got me over being 'over building bikes'

... my Bennett is in progress now - if it ends up half as good as this I'll be stoked :cool:
