1980 SE Racing P.K. Ripper

PK Ripper built to tribute Peter Brocks 84 VK race car.

In the 80's I use to love laying on the lounge watching bathurst 1000. In 84 Peter Brock had this Amazing HDT VK Commodore, This would have to be one of the coolest cars Brock raced back then. So I decided to build a PK Ripper in memery of the late Peter Brock, one of OZ's most famous race car drivers and car amazing car, the VK.
This bike was built as a ridder, Hope you like it as much as I enjoyed building it.
A few parts on the bike are not era correct but used them to get the race car look (Power Block tyres for the race tyre look..... etc)
81 PK Frame
Landing gear fork
Reissured powerwing bars
Suntour power stem
Hatta MX-10 headset
Bullseye Gen 1 cranks
Nos Elina seat
MX clamp
Skyway tuff 2 wheels
MX 1000 Brakes (84)
Tech 4 lever (84)
Power Block tyres
Kmc chain
Nos Tange grips
Flutted alloy seat post
Demolition Pedals

This is a Pic of the car I built the bike on.

Always looking for Cook Bros. stuff, vintage SE stuff,  MCS 6 bolt Super stems,  and Race Inc. Leading Edge/Cycle Pro/BMX innovations 20" forks.  All NOS or in very nice condition.

Re: 1980 SE Racing P.K. Ripper

Sick build, I love this color. Can you tell me what color code you used or the name of the color.  I got a black Group 1 and need an accent color to use. This color would be perfect. Thanks for any info on the paint. Again rad ass ripper,

Re: 1980 SE Racing P.K. Ripper

I did my old PK back in 86 with warning sign paint from a rattle can, utterly horrible paint to use, but you could see me a mile away!!big_smile
