custom built street, flatland, vert bike
started with a kink apex frame, in raw clearcoat.added mcneil cassette wheelset with alex rims in chrome. fly reuben tires and pedals. animal bob scerbo bars, camo s&m redneck stem and kink forks. redline flight cranks, mcneil sprocket, shadow interlock chain. kink pivotal post, united trinity seat, kink park pegs, kink forks, odyssey levers, kink linear cables, diatech, diacompe brakes, and finally fsa impact headset. i wanted a new bike after about 12 years off. i remember the kink stuff from way back, plus i live in rochester, where they're located. so i had to represent. i picked each part myself so it would be the way i wanted it. it cost alot more, but it's MY bike.

I concur. I thought about getting an Apex complete at one time......they're a pretty good price right now at Dan's....But I got a 2006 Sunday frame for 56 bucks on the Bay. It'll have the Scerbo bars, too. Love the raw look with the bronze parts on the complete, but yours is hooked up sweet as Hades......nice job!

Yeah my friend has a stock apex and it weight about 23 lbs...the 09 models are out on blackoutbmx.com ...the new roc color is pretty insane

ok, i changed it up a bit. it now has gold alex wheels with gold spokes and nips, khe park tires, new gold kink bars, gold odyssey clamp, an odyssey trigger lever, vermont sprocket and cs2 forks.
