Feels crazy.  Something I will need to get used to.  Not like an old school frame, that's for sure!  First time out, tried to wheelie, and ended up flat on my back in the middle of the street, lol.  Didn't even have time to get my feet off the pedals!

Re: 2011 Hoffman Strowler

First off, killer build, nicely done! And second, yea, tell us. How does it ride?  Fast to neutral steering?  What are your thoughts on the top tube length now that it's built?  I have really been wanting to build up a Strowler as my new ride as well.  Yet, I have been told by a few guys building new flatland bikes after years with the old school that some frames are a hard transition.  Either case, I love your bike and the and the spec as well

Cool, a new bike.  Wait a minute.......where am I going to hide this one.  She's going to catch me...

Steering feels pretty quick... as far as top tube, I'm only 5'10" and wishing I'd gone with the 19.75 instead of the 18.9.  It sure is a super smooth ride tho smile

Cool.  I was wondering on the TT length.  I'm 6'2'' and figured just go with the long frame.  It's going to be interesting going to a short wheel base and shorty cranks, not to mention micro drive.cool  I'll probably start in a few months.

Re: 2011 Hoffman Strowler

So glad you posted this bike in the museum. As I just bought this exact frame yesterday (same color. Not sure of the year, but it's the signature model)  and had no idea what it would look like built up. Nor what parts to get.

I'm liking your choice of color scheme and parts design. Especilly the tires, & grips. For now, those are on my list.

This bike is killer looking. Well done. I might just keep this Strowler after all. It'll be my first 'real' NS bike. Seems like I lucked out. This seems to be one of the top frames out there, no?

Curious how you like the ride compared to OS frames after having it for awhile now.

My Needs: http://bmxmuseum.com/forums/viewtopic.php?pid=5313997
Looking for: White Skyway Tuff IIs w/Alloy hubs, '84 MX1000-black front & rear, '84 Tech-3 Levers & cables-black, Early Dyno D-2 Plate & Brake Guard Black/White, Zap Pads or California Lite Black with White grid.

I'm not so Pro and not much of a Performer. But stoked to be here. Turning 14 again. Say hi. Be cool.

Re: 2011 Hoffman Strowler

I actually didn't ride it long cuz it felt strange to me.  I sold the frame and swapped all the parts over to an 85 GT Pro Performer frame that I had modified with a 1 1/8" S&M head tube.
