Gotta say Dyno Compe's are nice, too. Wanna build one, meself. They just look so quirky neat. It's that extended bit behind the seat post that makes that odd angled rear. Love it. yikes

Stonie, I know I still owe you updated pix of the Profile.  The Powerlite's undergone some changes, too.  One of these days...lol

I also love Robinsons too,but unfortunately dont have one right now,as i sold my 96 sst in a moment of stupidness and have missed it since. Elf,Schwinn, and Robinson are my heart and soul. Hawk has been added to that list also.

My future plans and goals are to add a superstock and pro stock to my schwinn section, quite a few Elfs still needed, and one or 2 robbies, and Id like to have one more hawk.

Re: What type of Bmx bikes do you consider more beautiful?

I tend to go through phases.  Its always pretty much all race bikes all the time for me, but sometimes I'm into new school, sometimes mid school and sometimes (like now) I'm all about old school.

That boss is really beastly, I like that detail with the additional brake booster. cool
Don't know if you really need it since V-brakes offer plenty of braking power compared too old caliper brakes.

Re: What type of Bmx bikes do you consider more beautiful?

I think first would be late 80's freestyle bikes followed by today's race bikes.  Late 80's FS bikes had different colors and designs.  Then everything went chrome.  Late 80's race bikes were already mostly just chrome and dull.  Today's race bikes are looking pretty sweet.  Today's freestyle bikes (yeah, I know they don't call it freestyle any more) all look the same.  And I hate how they're basically all decal-less.  That's the fault of all the people that were "too hardcore" for decals.

It's hard to beat the looks of ANY buffed out, shiny aluminum frame. The welds look so beautiful.

Re: What type of Bmx bikes do you consider more beautiful?

I can't decide, really. Old and midschool freestyle are my favorite, but there's also a huge softspot for oldschool race bikes.

Dave Voelker's red Pro Compe is probably my favorite BMX bike ever, so I'll have to go with that as what I find the most beautiful.

8788dyno did a great job making his own version of it:

I like to see bikes from my era ('80's) and my style, flatland, but I have a whole lot of respect for any of the bikes on here that show that a lot of work and respect went into building them.
