1986 Hutch Trick Star

serial # 100

My 86 trick star restore. frame, forks, and bars still need a fresh powder or paint to be perfect but otherwise nice. Rear brake still needs to be mounted have to find a proper washer to mount to the flat brake bridge. Was gona go with white tires and skyways but when i saw the Z's it gave it that perfect edge to an otherwise soft looking bike.
Nos Oddysey Gyro gen 1.
Nos ACS ZRIMS and Hubs. (BIG BIG thanx to Brian P...(85 master lives on))
Nos Cheng Shins. 20 x 1.75.
Nos Victor pedals. (will be replaced by hutch high calibers originals are bent up)
Nos Diacompe nippons. with restored rare Diacompe Tech 7s.
Nos Hutch HI-Caliber headset.
Nos Ame bubble round.
Nos KMC chain.
Nos Viscount dominator.
Nos Trick Top caps.
Tuff neck chain wheel and ring powdered to match.
otherwise parts are original or restored

Re: 1986 Hutch Trick Star

Does look like candy..
I do like the "edge" the z-rims give it too.
The color scheme works somehow!
thanks for posting!

My Father once spoke to me and said "The way you look at your bike is the way I see My children, I look past the imperfections and rough surfaces to the beauty of the finished product."

Re: 1986 Hutch Trick Star

U ever heard the story of Trickstar #13?!?!?! The ride was doin' a wheelie down the street, back wheel came off, chain wrapped around his neck and he was in the middle of the street just as a truck was coming down the road..........rest is history.........

I'm on the hunt for a 70's or 80's 24" cruiser. Brand and condition don't matter.
