1981 Hutch Standard
1981 Hutch Standard
Profile made 1st gen
Thought i would put up a few frames i have that i have no plans to build at present.
This is a very early Profile made first gen Hutch Standard. This is an Expert size before they actually named them that. Unfortunately the original owner swapped the og Profile forks for a Hutch pair in 82.
This was the first production model with the drilled brake bridge and chain stays above the top tube level. I was told that the head tube and seat mast decals are original paper ones to the frame but the rest were supposedly replaced with original ones.

Re: 1981 Hutch Standard
What a great frame! Congratulations, it looks like a great part of your terrific collection. The original forks were probably broken BITD, I don't mind the '82 forks at all. It's great that you have a drilled bridge frame.

Build it, Ride it & Break it. That is what "it" was made for.
