Race inc with home made brake bridge
1976 race inc no serial number. 70's bars might be kawasaki. tange tx 500 forks, araya 7c sunshine hubs. aggressor tire on front chen shin on rear. wienman caliper, diacompe lever, Alps stem ,schwinn seat , sedis chain. Ashtabula crank, German rat traps . cycle pro seat clamp.

that's a sweet bike, but I don't think it's a race Inc. it's a laguna GT. look at the one in the museum. and look at the gold 76" race Inc in the museum. completely different frames.

Hi. The 76 gold race inc in the museum is a race inc JR. frame. The JR. frames are mini sizes. The Laguna frames are the same as race inc frames they are made in the same factory. just stickered differently. FMF frames are the same just has a extra hole in the gusset .Cyle pro spoilers also has the same frame. The early frames do not have brake bridges some have home made brake bridges or clamp on style bridge.
Anyway it is a long story about Race inc history and alot of the information is not available. It is what it is.

I did 'nt know that Laguna was in the race Inc. family. I thought it was when first seen it. looks just like a race Inc.

Love the bike and i find it very interesting about the history of race inc,there was a pk ripper on ebay with a serial number starting with a RA not long ago
