One way to be certain is my 83 Thrasher has a welded on kick stand.

G0184 is for certain a 84 model.
Now my Schwinn Thrasher doesnt have a G (Giant) code, but I wouldnt be suprised if Schwinn had multiple builders.
check Genes Schwinn catalogs to be sure of model.

Found it. It is not an 83 Schwinn Thrasher but an 84 Thrasher.

Definately an '84 Schwinn Thrasher. I have the scaled down frame model T111 '84 Thrasher and that is a larger frame model that was probably a T130.
