SE Racing Mild Steel Quadangle upgrade

Well I took the Tuff II's off and replaced them with these Araya 7B's! What do you think? Let me know?

cool either way imho.

Its my fault, always my fault, even when someone else is the issue its my fault. If I type something its an attack, and I am always in the wrong, no matter the truth or the facts, if I am posting I must be starting something and I am for sure in the wrong.

Re: SE Racing Mild Steel Quadangle upgrade

I really don't like tuffs on anything that's not a freestyle bike. But in this case, I think your bike looked better with the tuffs. I just don't like how tuffs ride.

Re: SE Racing Mild Steel Quadangle upgrade

either way your bike looks nice, but it would really look better with skinwall tires, that would set it off.

Re: SE Racing Mild Steel Quadangle upgrade

Tire selection was very limited in 1979. These are the exact same tires I ran on my quad in 1980.

skinwalls would give it an 80's look...leave it as is.

Re: SE Racing Mild Steel Quadangle upgrade

i think my friend used to run a set of tires we called tracktor tires in 79 and they might have been skinwall.

Re: SE Racing Mild Steel Quadangle upgrade

There's something cool about the Tuffs, but, I think overall, I like the spokes better. That aggressor MX on the front is spot on. A Cycle Pro snake belly might be an option on the rear, but, overall, I think the 2 blackwalls is spot on.

I don't know why,but for some reason I'm liking the Tuffs on this bike a lil' better than the 7Bs.
