I have a frame and can't figure out the brand

i am new to bmx museum and am gonna list my collection this week. this bike is gonna be my pride and joy project. i'm pretty darn knowledgeable about oldschool bikes but this one has me stumped.  i'm very much hoping there will be someone out there help me determine exactly what it is. i've tried and tried and can't figure it out. it has a very long top tube 22". is stamped 1019 so not many made. 4130 frame i'm sure and i purchased it with se stamped forks. i want to restore but need the brand so i can properly label.  lots more bikes coming soon

I want to post a pic but can't figure out the website can anyone help me

Re: I have a frame and can't figure out the brand

Post pics, it may be a low end frame. 1019 is a type of steel, and as you probably already know 1020 is hi-ten steel. So with that in mind there's a pretty good chance they're chemically similar... which is bad

Re: I have a frame and can't figure out the brand

Yeah I have no clue what that thing is, especially with that crazy tuning fork looking thing welded in. Maybe someone just made that and welded it to the frame? It looks like that was put on there either in the factory or someone did a lot of measuring, planning, and a good job fabricating it. Idk what it is, just ride it till it breaks, the 1019 on the dropout may also be the serial # like you said. That frame has some kick ass cranks tho!

Re: I have a frame and can't figure out the brand

Thansk for looking. I believe it's a ligit frame from maybe a company that either didn't last long or a very early stage of a bigger company. everything is straight and looks fully factory. Great welds also. I think this could be a very special build. Hope there is someone out there with some clue on it. I thought maybe a very early titan prototype or something.

Re: I have a frame and can't figure out the brand

Crazy,
Looks like someone tried to mimic the Titan design.
But a little different.

Interesting.

Re: I have a frame and can't figure out the brand

That's what I thought. I wondered if titan may have done this early on or something. And it has a 22" top tube thta's crazy for back in the day. Maybe this was specially built for a factory rider.
