1982 Diamondback Turbo
$100 ebay find. Frame and Fork only. I searched for the parts and although I do really like the smoke chrome on Turbos I wanted to do something a little different.
PARTS LIST
Frame/Fork - 82 Turbo - Paint: Crystal Platnum by Spray Chief paints in Adelaide (very hard to pick up the colour - but it's very metallic
Cranks - DB Turbo - Polished
Pedals - SR 134 - Rechromed
Brakes - Rear Polished 890's, with pre bents and stamped cables
Bars - DB stamped - Crystal Platinum
Grips - Ames
Stem - DB Turbo - Rechromed
Headset - Tange MX2 (Norm)
Seat - Kashi - Recovered with decals from Retrospect
Post - Chrome generic
Clamp - SR Polished
Wheels - Araya 7x laced to Suxue Low Flange chrome hubs (Benny)
Tires - Comp III's - repops
Decals - Custom from Retrospect - absolutely fantastic guy!!
Pads - Custom repops from Steve at esemdesign - absolutely fantastic guy too!!

Here's a better pic of the paint also. It's really hard to pick up. The best comparison I have is that it looks a lot like that homo vampire from Twilight when he's caught in the sunshine....

Thanks, just building and collecting.
I'm aiming for a full Koizumi built collection with every model they produced for DB between 79-84
Only need a Silver Streak and I'll have all the framesets.
