Looks shiny! Very nice! Very 88... I remember a lot of the color leaving our minds in 88... we were all taking the paint off the top tubes of our bright 87's, or chroming them out. So this really, for me fits the bill for 88 for me. Love it!

Great bike Chad. Those are the exact stickers that I need for my '88.

Re: 1988 GT Pro Freestyle Tour
Thanx for the compliments, fellas. If I really wanted to make it an exact clone of what I rode BITD, I'd do the following:
- swap out the wheelset for all-chrome sealed SuperLace/Sun combo w/ Peregrine HPs
- swap the bars for stripped all-chrome Kneesavers & add foam roadbike grips opposite the Jives (old locomotive touch)
- properly polish the stem (I'm lazy)
- lose the driveline & replace w/ 175mm, dated-87 PowerSeries, & strip & polish both sides of a 88 "wings" chainwheel (I have the chainwheel; more laziness)
- find, strip, & polish an Axiom rear brake to replace the Hombre

Re: 1988 GT Pro Freestyle Tour
Love it. I have one in chrome too. It was my second freestyle bike back in the 80's. It's in pieces now, but I intend to put it back together. Thanks for the inspiration.
